RE: Hot Springs Arkansas, fun place???

Hot Springs is a neat town with lots to do. They have a good amusement park for
the young ones, mountain lookout tower, duck boats rides, paddle wheeler rides on lake Hamilton with dinner at nite. Several antiques shops, 2 lakes to fish,
reasonable hotels, many good restaurants, old bath houses, western music theater shows and huge indoor flea market. Coy's steak house is very good. Lots of downtown shops within walking distance of springs and bathhouses. Very senic,
mountain and hills. Have fun.

RE: Working as Gate Guard for Well Drilling site ?

THE TEXAN,
I called them many ,many times and after maybe 2 months
talked to Shawn, answered his questions, gave him all my
numbers and email and he said would go a waiting list.
No one ever called.
There was nothing I did or didn't do. Gve them all the
information they asked for.

RE: South Toledo Bend SP Info Needed

Harborlight Marina & campground near Milam on FM 3121
surrounded on 3 sides by water. You can beach your canoe
there. Nice and clean with restaurant and store. See RVPARKS REVIEw.
In May there sites were 24.00 with cable. Large lake area away from main
lake.

RE: Gas, The Economy and Jobs

I think the gas will slow down a lot of volunteer's , we're not
going to drive a long distance for a free campsite and pay for everything else. We can live a lot cheaper at home. People that make
payments on rv's and tv can't afford to go anymore to enjoy rv'ing.
Looked forward to retirement, now its here, all the high prices keep
us down.

RE: Photo Required

If I was hiring for a workamper I would want to know what they
looked like and their rv first. Plus the data bases for sex offenders
shows their pictures listed by state, county, etc. Plus I would do
a background history to make sure who I was hiring. You can never
be to sure these days of high crime and fraud.

RE: San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Galveston

The state park in Galveston is nice, lots of sites, on and off beach. Cement
shelter and table with hook-ups. Separate dump station. Clean and has grass lawns.
Clary's seafood is about the best in Galveston. On I-10 going to San A. from
Houston stop at Shulenburg at the Smokehouse. They have a great buffet with barbq
and german sausage. Northwest of SA is Kerrville that is a great area to see.
Grudalupe rv park on the river there is very nice. Check rvparkreviews.com

RE: Samsung microwave issue continued

Our Samsung was on recall and we called them 2 weeks before Chrismas 07
and they said a dealer would call then come and repair. We haven't heard from
anyone. How long does it usually take for repairs ?

RE: Branson, Mo

Go to Eureka Springs Ar about 55 miles sw of Branson.
Famous Passion Play about story of Jesus. Town is built
like Swiss town, streets on different levels. See Thornburg chapel
west of town, made of mostly glass. Prices are most reasonable
for a tourist town. Trolly cars to ride and lots to see and do.
Your family will really enjoy. Merry Christmas !
